Nunavut Trades Employment Opportunity: Instructor, Oil Burner Mechanic

January 22, 2010  - Nunavut Arctic College is seeking to fill the position of Instructor, Oil Burner Mechanic, with a Journeyman (Inter-provincial) certified trades instructor in Rankin Inlet.

**If there is no successful Nunavut Land Claims Beneficiary this position will be offered as a 3 year Term**

The College is seeking to fill the position of Instructor, Oil Burner Mechanic, with a Journeyman (Inter-provincial) certified trades instructor.

This position is for the Nunavut Trades Training Center, located in Rankin Inlet, and is open to Journeyman (IP) certified applicants experienced in trades training, along with a demonstrated aptitude for working with Arctic climate technologies.

INSTRUCTOR, OIL BURNER MECHANIC PROGRAM

Starting salary is $77,961 and is commensurate with experience. The incumbent will also receive a Northern Living Allowance of $17,635 per annum and annual leave credits based on a Unionized Collective Agreement for qualified Instructors.

Staff housing may be made available for this position.
