Term position with a possibility of extension

Nunavut Arctic College is offering an employment position that provides training in the field of Adult Education, designed to prepare you to become an Observer Communicator Instructor. The course credits achieved through this program are also transferable into the Bachelor of Adult Education Degree program at the University of New Brunswick.

The Instructor Training position for the CARS program is located in Rankin Inlet and is open to Observer Communicators who wish to become certified instructors. The formal training is required to be completed, for recognition as an instructor.

This position is included in the Nunavut Employee’s Union and the starting salary is $77,796 per annum. The incumbent will also receive a Northern Living Allowance of $17,635 per annum. Annual leave credits will be based on the position of a certified Instructor.

Staff housing may be made available for this position.

Candidates will be required to successfully undertake a full term of adult instructor training and be accepted by the College as an instructor to advance their careers.
