This ten month program focuses on traditional Inuit methods and technologies to prepare skins, design, and sew garments, as well as on commercial and contemporary methods for fur design and production. Business courses will familiarize students with market, consumer demand, and assist the students to become successful in both cottage industries and small business.

Management Studies is a general management program intended to provide the knowledge and skills necessary for students who want to start administrative and management careers in business, government and non-profit organizations. The program emphasizes content relevant to the Nunavut employment market. The Diploma program includes a specialized concentration inĀ  Business Administration. A one year Certificate program without specializations is also available.

This is an ideal program for those who would like to embark on a career in office administration. It provides students with the opportunity to acquire the knowledge, skills and attitudes needed to enter employment as secretaries, administrative assistants, typists, receptionists, word processors, finance clerks, data-entry clerks and other administrative support positions. The Diploma in Office Administration leads to careers as Executive Secretaries or Administrative assistants in the public and private sectors.

This program has been developed in partnership with the Nunavut Department of Education and the Alberta Distance Learning Centre. PASS enables adult learners who did not complete high school and are unable to attend in-class courses to attain their high school diploma by completing approved Alberta Education courses via an innovative and flexible delivery model.

The Social Services Worker Diploma Program provides a two-year orientation to Community and Social Services Work from a Professional Social Work perspective. The program prepares students for entry level positions in Community Counselling, Child Welfare, Corrections and other Social Service-type work. It also lays the foundation for continued education to the Bachelor of Social Work degree and beyond. The goal of the program is to prepare graduates with the skills necessary to work within the cultural context of Nunavut.
