The Nunavut Teacher Education Program (NTEP), in partnership with the University of Regina (U of R), offers a campus and community-based program that prepares Nunavummiut to become classroom teachers in Nunavut schools. The emphasis is on training primary and elementary teachers, but students may choose to practice at the Junior High and High School levels.

The Pre-Apprenticeship Carpenter Program is a multi-disciplinary program that aims to give students the skills, knowledge, and confidence required to proceed with an Apprenticeship in the Carpentry trade.

The Pre-Apprenticeship Cook program is a 160-day multi-disciplinary program that aims to give students the skills, knowledge, and confidence required to enter into an Apprenticeship in the Cook trade. Strong emphasis on safety, including the WSCC 'Go Safe’, First Aid certifications, and a Food safety course prepare students as they complete the Level 1 Cook Apprenticeship theory. The Apprenticeship Cook Theory courses in Nunavut are equivalent with the Alberta Apprenticeship Level 1 Theory.
