This course will help us understand the ways in which Canadian schools as organizations have come to operate and help us challenge our thinking about them. It is important to study how schools are organized because it has powerful influence upon teachers' work and students' learning experiences.

My motivation to quit smoking was influenced by a few different things. Once I became interested in health, and nursing, I realized how bad some things were for my body, and how necessary it was to treat my own body with respect - smoking tobacco was doing the opposite.

The Nunavut Early Childhood Education Program of the Education programs division of Nunavut Arctic College is facilitating a consultation with Inuit Elders, experts in Early Childhood development, in order to review the College’s ECE Program outcomes and create strategies for integrating Inuit culture, knowledge and language in all course content. The week-long discussions will provide invaluable curriculum enhancement and Inuit-specific content.
