Students from the Trades Training Centre completed their first attempt to pass their second year Apprenticeship program which covered the Electrical, Housing Maintainer and Carpentry trades. The results for the second year were outstanding. 100% success rate from the first attempt.  We take this opportunity to thank the staff and faculty on a job well done.

This is a course in Understanding Canadian Schools with specific reference to the educational system in Nunavut. This course will help us understand the ways in which Canadian schools as organizations have come to operate and help us challenge our thinking about them. It is important to study how schools are organized because it has powerful influence upon teachers' work and students' learning experiences.

My motivation to quit smoking was influenced by a few different things. Once I became interested in health, and nursing, I realized how bad some things were for my body, and how necessary it was to treat my own body with respect - smoking tobacco was doing the opposite.
