Introduction to Canada’s North is a general overview of the northern environment from a physical geography perspective.

Topics begin with the astronomical reasons for the earth’s seasons and pass through the climate, terrain, seas, plants, birds, mammals, fish and finally insects common to the northern latitudes.

The course is part of the College's two-year Environmental Technology program which is running in the Kitikmeot Region for the first time.
