Nunavut Arctic College has just presented two new publications entitled: Fighting for Our Rights by Louis Tapardjuk and Helping Ourselves by Helping Each Other by William Lyall.

The books were produced through a partnership between the Nunavut Research Institute of Nunavut Arctic College, Laval University’s CIERA (Centre interuniversitaire d’etudes et de recherches autochtones), and Nunavut’s Department of Education.

The book series falls under the heading of Inuit Leadership and Governance. The books were funded by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada and its Community-University Research Alliance Program.
