Nunavut Arctic College has a strong commitment to provide high quality educational opportunities to all residents of Nunavut. The College has five campuses: Nunatta Campus and the Nunavut Research Institute Science Campus in Iqaluit, Kivalliq Campus and the Nunavut Trades Training Centre in Rankin Inlet and the Kitikmeot Campus, located in Cambridge Bay. Community Learning Centres are located in all 25 communities of Nunavut.

The Nursing Program at Nunavut Arctic College has 18 students into the Pre-Nursing Program, which is in its third year. The Students take Math and Sciences - among other subjects, and some of the students have been in need of calculators for their Math and Chemistry.

The Department of Family Services is launching the “Getting Ready for Employment and Training”, or G.R.E.A.T. program, which is a 12-week Nunavut Arctic College program designed to help prepare income assistance clients for employment opportunities.

Valerie Young, a third year nursing student at Nunavut Arctic College, was selected from an international pool of student applicants to attend the First Annual Arctic Academy in South Korea.
