On April 10, 2013, Hall Beach Arctic College students took part in the Red Cross Day of Pink to take a stand against bullying.

The Canadian Red Cross offers Red Cross Day of Pink as way to encourage students to talk about the issue of bullying and how they can make a difference. Throughout the year, Red Cross works in partnership with schools and communities to provide programs aimed at drawing attention to and reducing abuse, violence and exploitation in our schools and communities by encouraging and developing practical, long-term solutions.

Red Cross Beyond The Hurt bullying prevention education empowers youth and equips them with comprehensive tools to take a stand against bullying so they can create safer environments for themselves and their peers. If you would like to learn more about our violence and abuse prevention programs and how we can support your school in preventing bullying call your local Canadian Red Cross office.

Congratulations and thank you to all those who took part in making this day so special!
