Nunavut Arctic College would like to congratulate Daisy Dyer-Eyegetok, a fourth-year NTEP student in Cambridge Bay, on being awarded the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal for her dedication and contributions to community.

The Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal was created to mark the 60th anniversary of her Majesty’s accession to the Throne and is being awarded to 60,000 deserving Canadians for their contributions to their community, province or territory, and/or Canada. The Government of Nunavut, as a partner organization, will be awarding 55 of these medals to outstanding Nunavummiut throughout the year.
