Mike Qappik, Deskside Support Supervisor, Help Desk presented Dell computer tablets to the Computer Systems Technician students this morning. The tablets will enable students to access their course content from home. Mike, a former graduate of the program,  spoke encouragingly to the students about his IT experience working with the GN. He met some of the students last year when they came through IPS on work term and they are looking forward to seeing him again when they start their final work term at the end of April. Applications are now being accepted for Arctic College’s Computer Systems Technician Diploma Program!

This two year diploma program prepares students to enter a career as an IT professional. Learn to build and maintain computers, troubleshoot, build and administer networks, design and program websites, with a ‘hands-on’ approach.
